The crew of the space shuttle Endeavour returned to Earth on Friday morning after spending 16 days in space.

The seven U.S., Canadian and Japanese astronauts aboard Endeavour touched down at NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida after delivering the final piece of Japan’s Kibo science laboratory.

It was a smooth landing for a shuttle that had a hard time getting off the ground due technical and weather problems.
