This amazingly elevated bike balancing device allows a delivery boy to speed up round busy streets of Japan without spilling a drop of soup.

The somewhat shaky looking attachment on the back of the bike is a counter-weighted, hanging shelf onto which the bento boxes and bowls can be placed.

It looks dangerous, but it seems to be the best way of keeping your miso upright when you want a decent meal delivered. It’s a Japanese thing.
