FBI Investigating Scarlett Johansson Leaked Nude Photos
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reportedly been tapped to look into the alleged hacking of celebrities’ phones and emails, including that of Scarlett Johansson, who became the latest victim of suspected hackers after nude photos of the “The Avengers” star surfaced online on Wednesday.
FoxNews said that an FBI official has confirmed the investigation. “The FBI is aware of the alleged hacking incident and is looking into it,” the official said according to Fox. The pictures, reportedly taken with the actress’ cellphone, show Johansson in various state of undress. One of the photographs shows Johansson taking a picture of her backside through a mirror with only a towel covering her front. Johansson is shown topless in one of the photographs, Fox said.
Johansson’s purportedly hacked pictures are the latest to hit the Web. Earlier this year, alleged nude photographs of “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively also spread online. Lively denied the authenticity of the pictures and threatened to sue Websites that would post the pictures. The FBI said up to 50 celebrities have been targeted by the hackers. Among those celebrities whose email accounts have reportedly been hacked are Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Alba.
