Wimbledon 2009: Roger Federer vs. Ivo Karlovic

World No.2 Roger Federer takes on Croatian No. 22 seed Ivo Karlovic in the Wimbledon men’s quarterfinals later this afternoon.
The 6ft 10in Karlovic makes his first Wimbledon quarter-final debut after he defeated seventh-seeded Spaniard Fernando Verdasco on Monday. He has blasted down 137 aces in four matches so far and has yet to lose his serve at the tournament. Ivo has a poor record against Federer, though, having won just once in nine attempts.
The Swiss tennis ace is bidding for his sixth Wimbledon championship and a record 15th major title overall.
The match starts at 13:00 London (08: 00 ET).
UPDATE: Roger Federer reached his 21st consecutive Grand Slam semi-final after beating Ivo Karlovic in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
