Members of the Tianjin football team in China were unimpressed with the referee’s decisions during Sunday’s match with rivals Beijing—so they gave chase and physically attacked him.

Head referee He Zhi-biao was chased off the pitch and beaten to the ground by angry players at the final whistle, causing general chaos in the stadium.

China’s football association has disqualified the entire squad after the incident.

This is a disgrace (yet another one when it comes to China and football). It seems as if it is always dirty play and corruption within Chinese soccer, and it must be hurting the national team (which is a joke). These players should be banned for good.
This is the real modern China though, this is how Chinese deal with issues, and this is the sort of contempt they have for the rule of law.
