Canadian Grand Prix 2010 Live StreamFORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2010: The Canadian Grand Prix or known in French as Grand Prix du Canada is a yearly racing event held in the North American country since 1961. It has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1967 and was first staged at Mosport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario as an event for sports cars before it became an F1 event.

McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton snatched the pole position from Red Bull’s Mark Webber after finishing first in the qualifying this year.

Hamilton and Webber will be followed by Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull),  Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Jenson Button (McLaren), Vitantonio Liuzzi (Force India), Felipe Massa (Ferrari), Robert (Kubica Renault), Adrian Sutil (Force India) and Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) to complete the top ten.

“Its fantastic for the team. It’s the result of continued hard work from the guys. I saw the second to last lap Mark had gone ahead,” said Hamilton.

“I was so fortunate the guys came on the radio and said I had chance to get another lap in, it’s great to finally strip these guys. It’s a great result and I’m very happy.

“I did a good lap. I don’t know where I found that time.”

The Canadian Grand Prix 2010 will be held at Île Notre-Dame in Montreal, Canada. The race starts at 12:00 p.m. ET.

UPDATE: Britain’s Lewis Hamilton led compatriot Jenson Button to a McLaren one-two in a thrilling Canadian Grand Prix. Hamilton fought with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso throughout, but the Spaniard lost out to the youngest ever F1 champion with 15 laps to go.
