From Great Starts Come Great Things
Ain’t that a fact. And to demonstrate it, six athletes from Team Kellogg’s, after tough trials and tiring qualification events, have made it to Team USA, to proudly represent their country. Their stories, their beginnings, are out in the open, shared through Kellogg’s Start Story video series.
From great starts come great things, the web videos are part of Kelloggís Give A Great Start program meant the help kids in need to provide them breakfast. For each ‘Great Start’ consumer activate (see their website for details), Kellogg’s will be donating $.27 to Action for Healthy Kids.
The videos, they talk about the athlete’s struggles, and motivations, to get to where they are now. The six athletes from Team Kelloggís that made the cut to Team USA are Ted Ligety (alpine skiing), Meryl Davis and Charlie White (ice dancing), Noelle Pikus-Pace (skeleton), Torin Yater-Wallace (freeskiing) and Sarah Hendrickson (ski jumping).
ìIím excited that Charlie and I get to represent our country at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, along with our fellow Team Kelloggís teammates,î said Meryl Davis. Kellogg’s has helped us start off our day since we were kids. Weíre so proud to be part of this incredible group of athletes, and we look forward to lots of great things to come in Sochi.
