Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Live Stream Game 5: The Miami Heat survived a could be series ending Game 4 when they defeated the Boston Celtics 101-92 to force game 5.
Heat guard Dwyane Wade is the reason his team is still alive in the first-round best-of-seven Eastern Conference playoff series. He scored a franchise-record 46 points on Sunday against Boston. 19 of those 46 were fourth-quarter points while 16 of those 19 were from beyond the arc (4-for-4 shooting). Wade definitely pleased the crowd who watched his performance in American Airlines Arena.
“He’s done it before,” said Heat forward Michael Beasley, “but to do it in a playoff game against one of the best teams in the league…He’s a great player.”
“Coming into the fourth I think we were down six,” Wade said. “I was trying to be very aggressive. I was shooting all those shots no matter what. I started making a couple. I got hot at the right time. I just wanted to will my team to victory.”
Game 5 of the Heat vs. Celtics playoffs series will continue at TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday, April 27.
The game starts at 7:00 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: Boston wins series 4-1. The Celtics defeated the Heat in Game 5 of their first-round playoffs series to advance to the 2nd round.
