Helg Sgarbi, dubbed Swiss gigolo by the media, has been sentenced to six years in prison Monday after admitting that he tried to blackmail Germany’s richest woman out of millions of euros.

Sgarbi was accused of filming a sexual encounter between himself and BMW heiress Susanne Klatten, and using the material to try to extort nearly $60 million from her.

The 43-year-old playboy was also convicted at his trial in Munich of similar scams against three other, unnamed women.

In total, he milked the women of nearly $12 million, of which $8.8 million alone came from Klatten.

At the beginning of the trial, Sgarbi’s lawyer read a full confession by his client, in which he pleaded guilty to all the accusations against him.

However, Sgarbi had not revealed what had happened to the money he had taken from his victims nor where the alleged sex video had gone.

According to Forbes magazine, Klatten ranks as the 55th richest person in the world, with a net worth of $13.2 billion.
