Google Chrome OS Powered Netbook Specs Released!

google-chrome-os-netbookRumored Google Chrome OS netbook’s technical specifications are already out and would probably take the netbook level to a new high with regards to performance.

The Google netbook will run on… (Surprise! Surprise!) Chrome Operating System and will boast of a chipset from Nvidia’s Tegra line and will be powered by an ARM CPU (reportedly runs better than the older Intel Atom and consumes less power).

It will also come in with a 10.1-inch TFT HD-ready multi-touch screen display, a 64GB SSD, 2GB of RAM and other standard netbook features such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, Ethernet port, USB ports, webcam, 3.5mm audio jack, multi-card reader, etc.

It is expected to be available by 2010 holiday season for a subsidized price of under $300, will be sold directly from Google’s website, and may tie up with a network operator to sell it as a bundled 3G plan.
