Bobby Jindal sounded like Kenneth the Page
Gov. Bobby Jindal‘s response to President Barack Obama’s Congressional Speech Tuesday night sounded like a monologue from 30 Rock’s Kenneth—the overeager NBC page.
The Louisiana governor’s rebuttal was optimistic and clear but there was something about his speech delivery that made us laugh a little.
Bobby Jindal is the first Indian-American to occupy such a post and is one of the Republican Party’s rising stars. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Indian parents who had emigrated from the Punjab.
Jindal was born and raised a Hindu, but converted to Catholicism in high school.

An MSNBC host or producer was caught muttering “Oh God” on the air as Jindal walked toward the camera to deliver the GOP response. Others were heard laughing in the background.
