Guess Who Didn’t Make It to the American Idol Top Five
Someone still has to go even if almost every one of the remaining six contenders received positive remarks from the judges of American Idol during the performance night Tuesday, April 27. In fact, judge Ellen DeGeneres exclaimed that, “Tomorrow’s going to be real tough.”
The unlucky contestant is no other than Siobhan Magnus. Those who ended up in the bottom three are Michael Lynche and Casey James.
Magnus, 20, from Cape Cod, Massachusetts sang Any Man of Mine from the songbook of this week’s mentor Shania Twain (pictured).
Performers during the results show are Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Shakira and Sons of Sylvia.
The top five will perform next week with the theme of Frank Sinatra songs and The mentor will be Harry Connick, Jr.
Twain, who was the guest judge during the 2-day auditions in Chicago, Illinois, said during the performance night that she hopes that the contestant who will be eliminated will not hate her as it was her song that got him/her kicked out. Well, she can probably ask that now with Magnus.
