Guess who’s now hosting the Oscars?

The 63-year-old comedian stepped in Thursday to host the 84th Academy Awards, after Eddie Murphy backed out following Brett Ratner’s resignation as producer of the grandest event in Hollywood.
“Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions. Looking forward to the show,” the When Harry Met Sally star
This will be the ninth Academy Awards stint for Billy, who last hosted the show in 2004. Only Bob Hope has hosted more Oscars, with 19 ceremonies between 1940 and 1978.
The 84th Academy Awards will take place on February 26, 2012, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
