Gunman kills at least four at shopping centre in Finland

Four people were shot dead at a shopping mall near the Finnish capital Helsinki Thursday morning, television reports said.

A witness claimed the gunman, dressed in black, opened fire on the second floor of Sello shopping centre in the town of Espoo. The gunfire caused panic among loads of people inside the complex at the time, and authorities gave orders to evacuate.

Officers said three men and one woman were killed, but some reports say a fifth body, of a woman, has been discovered in an apartment in Espoo.

The police named the suspect as Ibrahim Shkupolli, 43, who has a previous criminal record. Authorities were still searching for him.
