Heather Locklear is Engaged

Heather Locklear is ready to plunge into marriage again.

The 49-year-old actress is reportedly engaged to “Melrose Place” co-star Jack Wagner. The actress’s spokeswoman, Sarah Fuller, confirmed the news on Friday. Fuller, however, declined to provide any other information, including a date for the wedding if there already is.

Locklear, who turns 50 on September 25, and Wagner, 51, have been dating since 2008. The couple worked together on the soap “Melrose Place” from 1994 until the “Beverly Hills 90210” spin-off was cancelled in 1999. Locklear played the character of Amanda Woodward while Wagner acted as Dr. Peter Burns.

Locklear and Wagner started seeing each other in 2008, about a year after her divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was finalized. Wagner is also divorced. Wagner was married to actress Kristina Wagner, with whom the actor co-starred on “General Hospital.” They divorced in 2006. Aside from being an actor, Wagner is also an accomplished singer and golfer. He produced a Billboard hit in 1985 with “All I Need” and has twice won the American Century Celebrity Golf Classic, a tournament usually dominated by professional golfers. He is the only non-professional to win the tournament (2006 and 2011).
