Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Name Misspelled on Walk of Fame
The latest star to be added in the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame misspelled the name of the actress it was honoring.
Hours before the May 4 unveiling ceremony, CNN entertainment producer David Daniel noticed that the name of actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus was incorrectly spelled. It was missing the letter “o” in Louis and the hyphen is nowhere to be found.
Workmen made a temporary “Louis” that was used in the unveiling. A permanent fix will be implemented soon.
Dreyfus, when she learned about the incident, found it hysterical and commented to leave the star as it is. The workmen said no however and chiseled out the “Luis” part and gave it to her as an additional souvenir.
The Emmy Award winning actress starred in the television series Seinfeld and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
The star of Dreyfus is the 2,407th Star on the Walk of Fame with the address of 6250 Hollywood Boulevard.
