Hollywood Walk of Fame Welcomes Russell Crowe
Academy Award winner Russell Crowe has been added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Crowe’s star is for the category of motion pictures and will be the 2,404th star to be cemented in the district’s most popular street. His star’s address is 6801 Hollywood Blvd.
The ceremony took place Monday, April 12 with Crowe’s wife and two children in attendance. Other personalities present are Jay Leno, producer Brian Grazer, director Ron Howard and fellow Australian actor Sam Worthington, star of recent hits Avatar and Clash of the Titans.
Howard directed Cinderella Man and A Beautiful Mind where Crowe got his third straight Oscar Best Actor nomination in 2001. He also made the list for The Insider in 1999 and for Gladiator in 2000, which he eventually won.
The actor will be next seen in the big screen with the film Robin Hood which hits theaters May 14.
The next star in the Walk of Fame will be that for country music superstar Alan Jackson. It will be awarded on Friday, April 16.
