Horse hit by speeding rally car in Argentina (video)
A wild horse has been hurled nearly 30 feet into the air in a horrifying crash during a rally car race in South America.
The mishap occurred during a stage of the Argentine Rally in General Roca on Monday. Federico Villagra’s Mitsubishi Evo swerved as the horse was tossed off the dirt track into the bushes, but amazingly the Argentine driver and his navigator managed to keep control of the car.
Other horses that had wandered onto the track came within inches of being hit by the speeding automobile. Villagra later told reporters he was “fortunate” to have come out of the crash unharmed.
The jet black nag was badly injured and had to be put down after the crash.
