IndyCar Series: 2010 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
2010 Indy Grand Prix St. Petersburg: The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is scheduled for March 26-28. It features three days of world-class motorsports event with the highlight of IZOD IndyCar Series.
This annual event is now on its sixth season. The run is a 1.8 mile, 14-turn waterfront circuit race. It also includes a combination of adjacent downtown streets along Pioneer Park, the Mahaffey Theatre all the way through the runways at Albert Whitted Airport.
This season, the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will feature five classes of motorsports for the first time since 2005 when it was debuted. The main event as usual is the IZOD IndyCary Series and the Firestone Indy Lights.
Also this year, they have included the World Challenge Championship consisting both GT and Touring classes, the open wheel racing of the Star Mazda Championship series and the U.S. F2000 National Championship Series.
