International Friendly: England vs. Egypt

England vs Egypt live streamEngland vs. Egypt Live Stream: Egypt will meet England at the Wembley Stadium in London for the International Friendly game.

Wednesday’s game between England and Egypt is manager Fabio Capello’s last dress rehearsal before going to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Capello intended to charge the game with his best first-eleven but injuries and personal issues are limiting him to do so. England is short in defense department specially without injured players such as Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Glen Johnson.

Steven Gerrard will wear the arm-band as England’s captain in place of injured Rio Ferdinand, who got the title after Capello has stripped John Terry of the captaincy following an alleged affair with Vaneessa Perrocel, Wayne Bridge’s former girlfriend. Bridge has left England’s national team as a result of the issue.

Egypt on the other hand, is still a solid team, winning three African Cup of Nations title in a row and are ranked number 10 in the FIFA rankings. Also, Egypt got one of the best defenders in Africa, Wael Gomaa, who will definitely do his best to contain Manchester United’s striker Wayne Rooney.

The match kicks-off at 20:00 GMT (3PM ET) at the Wembley Stadium in England.

UPDATE: Peter Crouch scored two goals as England came from behind to defeat Egypt 3-1 at Wembley Stadium.
