iPhone 3G Ad Gets Banned in the UK
Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has pulled out another iPhone 3G ad. The commercial shows how “really really” fast the new iPhone 3G is, but in the real world, according to iPhone users, it is not that speedy.
17 viewers complained that the advertisement was misleading, as it showed the handset surfing at an exaggerated speed. ASA upheld these complaints, and have demanded that the ad not be shown again in its current form.
Is the ad misleading? What do you think iPhone users?
