iPhone 4 Hits Markets June 24
Well, after the many stories that were put into the next generation of its popular smartphone, Apple finally unveiled the iPhone 4 at the opening of the World Wide Developer’s Conference, Monday June 7.
And the phone will already be available in the United States, Japan, Germany, France and the United Kingdom by June 24.
By September, iPhone 4 will be available in 88 countries.
iPhone 4 will be 24% thinner and have four times more pixel when compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 3GS. The camera is at 5 megapixels.
Some features include FaceTime, a gyroscope, a video editing app, retina display, iBooks and the ability to record videos in HD-format.
The prices (in the US) for the phone start at 199 USD for the 16GB version and 299 USD for the 32GB. Without a contract with the partner carrier, AT&T, the prices jump to 599 USD and 699 USD respectively. Taxes are exclusive.
Meanwhile, the next iPhone OS, the iPhone OS 4, has been renamed to iOS 4. It is slated for release this month.
