Iron Man 2 World Premiere Moved From London to Los Angeles
The ash cloud is continuing to make things and lives difficult as most stars in the entertainment industry either have to cancel their European trip schedule or try to penetrate the area by land transportation. What’s the latest schedule change announced? The world premiere of the much awaited movie Iron Man 2 has been transferred from London to Los Angeles.
The film, starring Academy Award nominee Robert Downey, Jr. and Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow, will have its world premiere on Monday, April 26. It is to be released in Australia on April 29, in the United Kingdom on April 30 and in North America on May 7.
The uncertainty of travel between UK and US due to the ash cloud emanated by Iceland‘s Eyjafjallajökull volcano has triggered Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment to relocate the event.
The movie’s predecessor Iron Man took home 585 million dollars from worldwide sales. It had a budget of 140 million dollars. Iron Man 2 has a budget of 200 million dollars.
