Is this the iPhone 4S? [PHOTO]
There are three prevailing predictions on what will Apple introduce on October 4. Prediction 1: the iPhone 5, which would feature a new design and upgrade; Prediction 2: the iPhone 4S, which would look identical to the iPhone 4 that exists today, but with less storage and is cheaper; Prediction 3: the Cupertino-based company will launch both models.
Now Gizmodo Brazil claims to have obtained images which show a cheaper iPhone (codenamed N90A) that will be released on Tuesday, the first major product launch under Tim Cook, who took over as CEO after Steve Jobs resigned in August.
According to the website, the photos were taken from a Brazilian Foxconn factory. The purported iPhone 4S in the pictures have been rejected as they didn’t meet Apple’s QA. However, it seems an indication that the Cupertino-based company will launch an inexpensive iPhone model alongside a new fifth-generation iPhone.
