Is this the world’s most crowded swimming pool?
High temperatures and droughts have hit China’s Sichuan Province in recent days, which led to a large number of visitors flocking to this indoor pool in Daying County.
Well, it is actually more of a hot spring, fed by an underground lake that was formed 150 million years ago. They call it “China’s Dead Sea” because the salt content is similar to that of the famous Dead Sea in the Middle East.
Since the beginning of summer, the lake has welcomed nearly a million visitors to escape the scorching weather.
