Jack White and Keith Richards working together on new tracks

Rolling Stones axe-man Keith Richards has revealed that he has been working with White Stripes/Dead Weather/Raconteurs guitarist Jack White.

In a recent interview, Richards said that he is now among White’s incredible list of collaborators. Apparently the two have recorded a couple of songs, but further detail was not mentioned.

“I enjoy working with Jack,” Richards told RollingStone.com. “We’ve done a couple of tracks.” Asked if White might possibly man the controls as producer of the next Stones album, he replied, “I couldn’t fuel that rumor any more than to say Jack and I are in touch.”

The 65-year-old did, however, confirm that it was his plan to get his band into the studio next year to record their next album.

“I’m trying to gather the boys together,” he explained. “One way or another, I’ll get them back in line.”
