Jennifer Aniston Plans to Direct Movie

If plans don’t miscarry, Jennifer Aniston could soon be behind the camera rather than in front of it. The 41-year-old Aniston said in an interview in London that she is considering directing her first feature film. The “Bounty Hunter” actress said that after all the movies she has done, it seems logical that she go into directing.

“I have a project in development I’m going to direct. After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, ‘What’s next?’,” she said. If the project pushes through, it would be Aniston’s second turn to direct, but first for a full-length film. In 2006, she co-directed with Andrea Buchanan in the short film called “Room 10,” which won at the CineVegas festival.

Aniston is expected to appear in at least three more films until 2011. She will next appear in the romantic comedy “The Switch,” which is scheduled to hit theaters in August this year. She is currently filming a movie with Adam Sandler entitled “Just Go With It” and would soon act on and co-produce the musical “The Goree Girls.” Both “Just” and “Goree” are set for a 2011 release.
