Jennifer Lopez cancels concert, may face lawsuit
Jennifer Lopez may face a lawsuit.
The Cratos Premium Hotel and Casino Complex in Cyprus is thinking of filing a case against Lopez after the latter had withdrew from a concert engagement it had with the hotel.
Representatives of Jennifer Lopez had cited “sensitivity to the political realities of the region” as the cause of her cancellation.
Apparently, Lopez felt that her July 24 concert would only further create a divide in the country. The northern portion of the country is the only area recognized by Turkey.
The casino has stated that if the concert will be canceled, they will collect $35 to $40 million in damages.
