Jeremy London Kidnapped, Forced to Take Drugs
Former “Party of Five” and “7th Heaven” star Jeremy London was allegedly kidnapped last week and was forced to smoke crack cocaine, police records showed. The 37-year-old London told police that he was kidnapped at gun point on June 10 by two men who helped him change a flat tire. The actor added that he was forced to take drugs and buy alcohol before being taken to a gang area in Palm Springs. His car was also stolen.
London was able to escape his kidnappers five hours later and reported the incident to police. A suspect, 26-year-old Brandon Adams, was arrested on June 11 and was charged with kidnapping. However, Adams pleaded not guilty on kidnapping and forcing London to take drugs. Adams is facing five charges, including robbery and vehicle theft, a spokesman at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office said.
London, who is working closely with investigators, recently admitted to being addicted to prescription drugs. He is also going through a divorce to Melissa Cunningham, with whom he has a son. Aside from his “7th Heaven” and “Party of Five” roles, London is also known for playing T.S. Quint in Kevin Smith’s 1995 film “Mallrats.”
