Julia Roberts is 2010’s “Most Beautiful”
People Magazine has given its “World’s Most Beautiful” honor to Julia Roberts, beating out the likes of Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, and Jennifer Lopez. It marks the fourth time that Roberts has topped the annual list and the 12th time that her name has been included on the influential magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful People.” Only Halle Berry has more appearances with 14.
Others on the list are Zoe Saldana of “Avatar” fame, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, and “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara, among the ladies. Among the males are Channing Tatum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper, and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Kevin McKidd. Conspicuously missing on this year’s list are regulars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Nicole Kidman.
People magazine senior editor Galina Espinoza announced the list on Wednesday, the same day that the special edition hits newsstands. Director Garry Marshall, who introduced Roberts to the world in “Pretty Woman” 20 years ago, said the 42-year-old actress is “as beautiful as ever.”
Roberts will grace the screen next in the film adaptation of the best-selling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, “Eat, Pray, Love,” which would be released in August.
