Justin Bieber album shoots to No. 1
With a total of more than 283,000 copies shifting out, Bieber, sixteen years old, became one of the youngest male artists to hit the gold spot. Stevie Wonder hit the same position in August 1963 when he was 13 years old.
Bieber’s fist album My World currently places at the fifth position making him one of the acts with two concurrent albums placing at the top five. The last one was in October 9, 2004 when Nelly ranked 2 and 4 with Suit and Sweet.
Monica’s Still Standing is in number two while Now That’s What I Call Music 33 from the long-running series entered at number 3. At number four is Lady Antebellum‘s Need You Now.
