Kidnapped Colombian football team found dead

The bodies of Colombian football players kidnapped two weeks ago have been found in Venezuela, according to local press.

The corpses, with multiple gunshot wounds, were discovered Saturday in the western state of Tachira on the Colombian border.

On October 11, unidentified men kidnapped the footballers while they were playing.

Authorities have not established a motive for the abduction or the killings.

The team was known as Los Maniceros or Peanut Men, because they sold nuts on public transport vehicles.
