The “Queen of Pop” Madonna is planning on staging a special tribute for the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson on a show she is doing in London this Saturday.

Madonna notes that the venue was where Jackson was planning on performing his farewell shows. The O2 Arena, where Madonna will be performing this Saturday, had Jackson due to perform about 50 sellout shows starting this month, entitled “This Is It“.

“I am so terribly sad about Michael Jackson’s death,” Madonna said in an interview. “I don’t know what artist wasn’t inspired by him.”

Madonna had also disclosed that she had asked Jackson whether or not he wanted to perform a duet during the latter’s O2 tours.
