‘Kumar’ Actor robbed in Washington
Kal Penn, the lovable actor who played Kumar in the movie “Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle” was robbed while walking along the streets of Washington, D.C.
Celebrity news source TMZ states that the Indian-American Actor was robbed at around 1:20 A.M. His wallet was taken along with other personal property. Penn was apparently working in Washington at the White House’s Office of Public Liaison.
Penn had made a splash in the silver screen when he played a foreign exchange student looking for a woman’s “lotus” in Van Wilder, opposite Ryan Renolds. He later played a title role as Kumar in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. Penn is currently on a recurring role in the hit TV series “House.”
