LA court plans to analyze Michael Jackson’s “last will”
Continuing on with all the Jackson family drama, the authority that Jackson’s mother Katherine has on her son’s assets may be taken away from her, if the last will and testament supposedly written by Michael Jackson is proved to be authentic, according to a Los Angeles court.
Jackson’s last will had been procured by attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, both of which have worked with the singer before. The document they have presented named the two of them as the will’s executors, which will nullify Katherine’s temporary ownership of her son’s assets.
Jackson’s family, having conceded that they had knowledge of any will and testament written by the singer, had been granted authority of Jackson’s assets through Katherine on June 29. Branca and McClain managed to present the said document two days after.
