LA Critics named Wall-E as Best Picture

For the first time in its history, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association named an animated film as the year’s best picture when it chose Pixar’s “WALL-E” in its annual voting Tuesday.

The runner-up spot was given to The Dark Knight. Batman might have cast a shadow over the sweet little garbage collector at the box office, but Wall-E finally got the honor that he deserved.
