La Liga: Barcelona vs. Sevilla

FC Barcelona will try to avenge their midweek exit from the Copa del Rey when Sevilla visits the Camp Nou tonight.

“We’re not invincible. We had to lose some time,” said Barca coach Pep Guardiola.

Manolo Jimenez’s side advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament on away goals after the two-leg series ended 2-2. However, in La Liga, the Rojiblancos haven’t taken a point in their last five visits. The last time they managed to grab a draw was in 2003 in Ronaldinho‘s home debut for the Catalans.

Barca, on the other hand, won the Champions League, the Copa del Rey and La Liga last term—the first time in Spain’s history a team accomplished that.

The match kicks-off at 22:00 CET (4:00 p.m. ET).

UPDATE: Leo Messi scored twice as the Blaugrana avenged their exit from the Copa del Rey with a 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla.
