La Liga: Real Madrid vs. Real Zaragoza
Here’s some good news for all you Real Madrid fans out there. Kaka is now back to full fitness after overcoming a groin injury and will be available for Los Blancos in their La Liga encounter against Real Zaragoza this evening.
The 28-year-old Brazilian playmaker has been generally disappointing in his first season for the Spanish giants so far, but he could redeem himself in this match. Spanish media have even suggested that the 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year was saving himself for the World Cup finals in South Africa and questioned whether his injury was as bad as it seemed.
With just five games remaining, FC Barcelona holds a one-point edge over Manuel Pellegrini’s side and Kaka’s presence is badly needed by his teammates.
The match kicks-off at 20:00 CET. (2:00 p.m. ET).
UPDATE: Kaka celebrated his return from injury by scoring for Madrid in the 2-1 win over Zaragoza.
