Lakers vs. Magic Game 5 NBA Finals
Posted by Sherwin

The NBA Finals resume tonight when the Orlando Magic host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5.
Down 3-1 in the series with only one game left at the Amway Arena, the Magic face a very bleak road. None of the previous 29 teams to trail 3-1 in the finals has come back to win the championship.
If the Magic are going to live to play another game, they are going to have to do a better job of protecting the ball. Take care of the glass, nail open shots, and limit the turnovers. They’ve got to play a perfect game or the Lakers will be celebrating in Orlando this evening.
Can Kobe and the Lakers wrap things up?
I think they can. But Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom should step up in tonight’s game. The Lakers are at their best when Gasol is active at both ends of the floor and Odom is involved in the offense early.
The game starts at 8 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: The Los Angeles Lakers earned their 15th NBA title on Sunday night as Kobe Bryant notched 30 points and Pau Gasol added 14 points and 15 boards in a 99-86 victory in Game 5 over the Orlando Magic. It was the Lakers’ first championship since 2002.
Congratulations to the Lakers and their fans!
