Our favorite Kellogg’s Corn Flakes is undergoing radical change. Kellogg’s is no longer content with having to put the corn flakes in a Kellogg’s branded box, it is now opting to etch their Kellogg’s logo onto the corn flakes itself via laser!
Helen Lyons, lead food technologist at the company, said: ‘In recent years there has been an increase in the number of own brands trying to capitalize on the popularity of Kellogg’s corn flakes. We want shoppers to be under absolutely no illusion that Kellogg’s does not make cereal for anyone else’.
Not that I have a problem with that. On the contrary, I think that’s cool. They just have to make sure that such a procedure doesn’t alter the corn flakes’ taste or introduce any health hazards.
