Lego Harry Potter Video Game Released
A Lego video game has been released featuring the magical world that brought back the notion of reading books in today’s young children, youth and even adults.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 was released in North America Tuesday, June 29, in Australia last June 30 and in Europe Last June 25. The game is multi-platform and is available for Windows, Nintendo DS, Wii, Playstation 3, Playstation Portable and XBox 360.
As the title suggests, only stories from Sorcerer’s Stone (Philosopher’s Stone in UK), Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire are included in the game.
Characters in Lego games don’t talk so the story unravels via pantomime mode. A total of 167 characters are playable including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin, as well as some more minor and unusual ones like Fang, Dobby, Buckbeak, and Centaurs.
A Lego building area can be found inside Gringotts Bank.
The game can be played by two players in the console platform versions.
