Penguins vs. Red Wings Game 6 Stanley Cup finals
Posted by Sherwin

Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins will try to bounce back from the 5-0 thrashing in Game 5 and avoid losing to the Detroit Red Wings in Game 6 of the 2009 Stanley Cup finals.
Pittsburgh must find a way to score using its special teams. Their main objective tonight is not to have one or two players carry them past the Red Wings and into a seventh game with heroic efforts; it is to get 19 or 20 guys performing to their full potential.
On the other hand, the Red Wings are hoping tonight’s game is a repeat of last year, when they clinched the Cup by winning at Mellon Arena.
The game starts at 8 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: The Pittsburgh Penguins kept their NHL title hopes alive, beating the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 to force a deciding game seven in the Stanley Cup finals.
This is the first time the championship have gone seven games since 2006, when the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Edmonton Oilers.
