‘7th Heaven’ star Mackenzie Rosman is all grown up

When you think of Mackenzie Rosman, you are immediately reminded of the adorable little Ruthie Camden on 7th Heaven. Well, apparently she isn’t 7 years old anymore, but we never thought she’d turn out to be the hottie she is today.

Rosman, now 19, is ready for meatier roles on the big screen. She will be starring in the new Edgar Allan Poe film, known as Edgar Allan Poe’s Ligeia, in which she will play the part of Loreli.

Perhaps she is following the path of her 7th Heaven co-star Jessica Biel, and wants to break away from that wholesome character she portrays on that TV series.

Fading of the Cries is her latest film, which is set to be bigger, and it's in post-production at the moment with a slated release in 2010. It's honestly one of her biggest more lead roles in a film and we all can't wait to see it! Edgar Allan Poe's Ligeia was filmed two years ago now and not sure when it is coming out. Fading of the Cries was filmed this time last year. Mack is also appearing in the show 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' and will play the role of Zoe, it's a guest appearance in episode 14, from the new Season Two... which is set to air sometime early next year when the show comes back on tv screen's. So, look out for Mack! She's got another project slated in the works, where she actually plays the LEAD role, its titled 'Socio' and her character is Roslyn Price. The director is Joe Estevez, uncle to Emilio Estevez and brother to Martin Sheen.
