Mardi Gras Live Stream: Today is Mardi Gras! Today is when New Orleans dedicates a day to throwing a huge party, great parades, beads throwing, and did I say party?!

Mardi Gras (pronounced as mardi gra) refers to events of the Carnival celebrations beginning on or after the Epiphany and ending on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras translates to “Fat Tuesday” in French but ethnic English tradition calls it “Shrove Tuesday” which refers to the tradition of eating rich and fatty foods before the start of the lenten season.

In Hamtrack, Michigan, people with Polish descent celebrate this day with their traditional Paczki Day.

Thanks so much for the live feed! I've never been to Mardi Gras or lived close so it's nice to see it. :)
