Mariah Carey Sued Over Unpaid Vet Services
Mariah Carey has been haled into court over unpaid bills for services accorded to her three dogs. Veterinarian Cindy Bressler said in documents filed with a Manhattan state court that Carey has yet to pay some $30,000 in bills for “extraordinary services” given to the Grammy Award winner’s Jack Russell terriers.
The lawsuit claims that Carey has paid only $8,200 of a bill that amounts to $37,800. Bressler, who claims to have prominent personalities and celebrities for clients, said she provided care to Carey’s pooches– Cha-Cha, Dolomite, and JJ–for more than a month.
Bressler’s lawyer did not provide information about the type of services given to the dogs, while Carey’s camp has yet to comment on the issue.
Carey is known for pampering her dogs, whose activities are regular fare on the singer’s Twitter feed. She and husband Nick Cannon recently welcomed the newest member of their family, Jackie Lambchops, a puppy born to Cha-Cha earlier this month.
