Marilyn Monroe caught ‘smoking pot’ on film (video)

A silent home movie has surfaced on the internet apparently showing Marilyn Monroe smoking marijuana at a friend’s house in New Jersey.

Shot in 1958 or 59, the film was recently purchased by collector Keya Morgan for $275,000 from the person who took it, who has asked to remain anonymous.

In the clip the actress is seen reclining on a couch with at least two other people in the private home. At one point she’s handed what looks to be a large joint and takes a quick puff.

Marilyn, born Norma Jeane Mortenson, was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles on August 5, 1962. The L.A. County Coroners office recorded cause of death as “acute barbiturate poisoning,” resulting from a “probable suicide”.
