Mary-Louise Parker paid a visit to the Ed Sullivan Theatre on Tuesday wearing a very stylish asymmetric dress. During the interview, the South Carolina native talked about her Emmy nomination, the season finale of “Weeds”… and bugs.

Also check out this new track by Mississippi-bred singer-songwriter Charlie Mars featuring the 45-year-old actress. “Listen to the Darkside” is a romantic ballad about a man comforting his girlfriend. In a recent interview with Spin Magazine, Mary-Louise said the video was meant to have a “Wizard of Oz” feeling, whatever that means.

I wish my girlfriend liked to occasionally get high and listen to some Pink Floyd.

love Marie Louise. Her piece on “bedbugs”was interesting and funny. With the epidemic proportion of the bedbug problem in N.Y.C. she dealt with two problems:1 the audience are mostly out of town folks who have not experienced or READ about it [ keep track of your daily papers Dave]. I had hoped for some more information, pertaining to the bug exposed, its really an amazing pest.To keep the sleeper from waking up[bed bugs remember] it injects anasthesia and follows it up with and anti-coagulant to have easier excess to blood flow. Another matter…love Marie Louise's ability to allow herself to be vulnerable. The bedbug story until now has been associated with cheap hotels, etc. Having gone through the experience myself I am still selective to whom I tell. Marie Louise your portrayel of a desperate and emotional, mentally scarred young woman in New york[so many years ago] stayed with me forever and gave me more insight and compassion for lost people in the world.
