Massage Therapist Christina Scavo Sues Brett Favre
Trouble is starting to pile up for Brett Favre just hours after he announced that he is ending his at times controversial but otherwise stellar NFL career.
Former New York Jets massage therapist Christina Scavo, along with fellow therapist Shannon O’Toole, filed a suit against the team and Favre, who allegedly sent lewd text messages to her in 2008. In documents filed on Monday, Scavo and O’Toole claimed that they were unjustly dismissed from their jobs after they complained to Jets management that the superstar quarterback had sent them sexually suggestive text messages.
According to the New York Daily News, Favre sent the alleged lewd text messages after the therapists gave him a massage sometime during the quarterback’s one-season stay with the Jets. In one instance, Favre allegedly sent an unnamed third therapist a message where the quarterback was asking for a threesome with Scavo as the third person. “Brett here. You and Crissy want to get together? I’m all alone,” Favre allegedly said in the message.
The allegations came just a few hours after Favre, after missing the Minnesota Vikings’ season finale against the Detroit Lions, announced yet again that he was retiring.
