Microsoft Kinect Will Debut with Harry Potter Game
The much-awaited controller-free movement-sensing gaming device by Microsoft for its console XBox 360 will debut next month with several games to go along with it. Leading the pack of games will be that of the video game adaptation of the most popular book series to have hit bookstores in recent times.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be holding the banner when Microsoft Kinect hits shelves November 4 in the United States.
“Playing as Harry, you are on the run from the opening sequence, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes,” said a statement by Mircosoft about the game. Players will have 22 moves in the game that will require the Kinect system.
Other games in the line-up are Kinectimals (zoo animal game for children), Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride (racing) and Dance Central.
Kinect will be sold with the price of 150 USD for stand-alone package. A bundle with the console (4GB and with Kinect Adventures game) will cost 299 USD.
The film adaptation will be released in theaters November 18 (international) and November 19 (US and UK).
