Miley Cyrus, Taylor Lautner Win Big at “Kids’ Choice Awards”
Miley Cyrus and Taylor Lautner scooped up the top awards at this year’s green slime-filled “Kids’ Choice Awards,” whose winners included First Lady Michelle Obama. Cyrus, who bagged the favorite movie actress trophy for “Hannah Montana”, had to run around the stage to avoid getting a big, wet, slimy hug from presenter Katy Perry.
Lautner raised the Team Jacob flag by winning the first-ever cutest couple award with Kristin Stewart for the movie “New Moon.” Lautner was also honored as favorite movie actor for the same movie. First Lady Michelle Obama was given the “Big Help” award for her anti-obesity campaign called “Let’s Move.”
Other winners at the raucous UCLA Pauley Pavillon were “Up” for animated movie, “American Idol” for reality show, and Selena Gomez for favorite TV actress. Kevin James of “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” hosted the show and performed a hip-hop opening dance number while an angel-dressed Adam Sandler serenaded him from above.
